World meetings of Turzovka-ers and their descendants take place in regular “Olympic” cycles since 1998. First meeting was organized by Foundation 400 years of Turzovka (predecessor of the association) at the occasion of 400^th anniversary of founding of the city. General Secretary of World congress of the Slovaks, Rudolf Zigmund, revealed a memorial of World meeting of Turzovka-ers and their descendants. The memorial is located in the center of the city in front of municipal office. It is permanent memorial commemorating ceremonial moment. The association organized other World meetings in years 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022.

Traditional poster prepared by a member of the association, important Slovak academic painter and native of Turzovka Ondrej Zimka, belongs inseparably to World meetings.
